Job Summary




  • The candidate will be responsible for developing and coordinating maintenance plans that ensure equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and workplace safety.

  • This role involves close collaboration with engineering, mining, and supply chain departments to optimize asset performance and support long-term maintenance strategies.



Key Responsibilities




  • Develop maintenance plan in order of priority, shutdown, backlog and adhoc maintenance.

  • Incorporate asset strategies and enhance planning to improve service qualities, data accuracy and work place safety.

  • Interface with other department. E.g. mining and supply chain and external stake holders Update maintenance planning documents (i.e. work packages, check lists, asset register, material lists) Record maintenance activities using SAP.

  • Plan and release long-term work orders, including future reservations, parts kits and components.

  • Plan and release work orders (task list, sop’s, permits, resourcing, materials, tools, equipment’s, costs, preliminary works, ultimate scheduling date)

  • Track weekly and monthly equipment performance and work management targets.

  • Develop mitigating/corrective action to achieve the longer-term plan.

  • Works with service engineers and line managers to identify a critical spare parts list based on reliability.



Qualifications & Experience




  • Minimum Academic Qualification: HND / B.Eng

  • Total minimum years of experience: 2 years.

  • Proficiency in computer usage (Microsoft Office package, SAP), excellent reporting & planning skills.

  • Good communication skills.
