Key Responsibilities

Strategic Business Growth:




  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities, markets, and partnerships in alignment with company goals.

  • Lead market analysis, trend forecasting, and competitor intelligence to guide decision-making and strategy formulation.

  • Develop and implement growth strategies that increase revenue, market share, and brand visibility.

  • Prepare comprehensive business plans, concept notes, and investment proposals to support expansion efforts.



Client Relationship Management:




  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to ensure long-term business engagement.

  • Manage the entire business development cycle, from prospecting to deal closure, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.

  • Represent the company in meetings, conferences, and networking events to promote brand reputation and build visibility.



Proposal & Contract Management:




  • Oversee the preparation of bids, Expressions of Interest (EOIs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and other business documentation.

  • Ensure the timely and compliant submission of proposals that meet client specifications and company standards.

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing models, and partnership terms that are commercially viable and mutually beneficial.



Cross-Functional Coordination:




  • Collaborate with Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Legal teams to ensure seamless execution of business development initiatives.

  • Provide business intelligence and advisory support to internal teams to align their work with corporate growth targets.

  • Support management in identifying process gaps and implementing solutions to improve operational efficiency.



Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting:




  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of business development initiatives.

  • Prepare regular progress reports, presentations, and forecasts for management review and decision-making.

  • Monitor industry trends, government policies, and competitor activities that could impact business performance.



Qualifications




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in business development, corporate strategy, or sales management.

  • A Master’s degree (MBA) or a relevant professional certification (Chartered Institute of Marketing, Project Management, Business Development Institute) is a strong advantage.

  • Proven record of successfully developing and executing business growth strategies.

  • Demonstrated experience in client acquisition, partnership management, and revenue generation.

  • Solid understanding of financial modeling, project proposals, and industry research.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, etc.).

  • Familiarity with CRM systems, data analytics platforms, and AI-powered business tools is desirable.
