Strategic Bidding & Partnerships:

  • Lead or support consortium formation, technical and commercial bid preparation, and government engagement for JV projects, EPC contracts, gas supply agreements, and infrastructure developments.

Commercial Structuring & Negotiation:

  • Structure commercial deals, draft proposals, lead negotiations, and secure MOUs, LOIs, and contracts for projects in gas supply, pipeline development, energy infrastructure, and EPC services.

Market Intelligence & Strategy:

  • Track sectoral developments, NNPC priorities, IOC budgets, and policy changes to anticipate opportunities and align company strategy with national energy objectives.

Revenue Growth:

  • Deliver measurable revenue and margin growth through large-ticket deal closures, strategic partnerships, and long-term contract awards.

Cross-Functional Coordination:

  • Work with internal technical, finance, and legal teams to prepare winning proposals, structure bankable projects, and ensure seamless deal execution.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in business development, commercial, or strategy roles within the oil and gas sector

  • Demonstrated track record of closing multi-million-dollar transactions with NNPC, NGML, NNPCL E&P, NPDC, or IOCs

  • Strong understanding of Nigeria’s gas value chain, upstream–midstream–downstream integration, and government contracting structures

  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
