• Our client - an asset management company seeks an experienced Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead our technology strategy, ensure robust IT governance, and drive innovation.


• The ideal candidate will bring expertise in IT leadership, cybersecurity, data management, and emerging financial technologies to enhance operational efficiency and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Technology Leadership & Strategy:

• Develop and implement a technology strategy that aligns with the company’s business goals.


• Lead digital transformation initiatives, leveraging cloud computing, AI, and data analytics.


• Ensure strong IT governance, including risk management, compliance, and cybersecurity measures.


• Oversee data management strategies, including governance, quality, and security.

Leadership & People Management:

• Lead and motivate IT teams, including software developers, data analysts, and IT operations staff.


• Communicate technology strategies effectively to stakeholders across all business units.


• Collaborate with investment, operations, and compliance teams to drive business objectives.


• Attract, retain, and develop top IT talent to support innovation and business growth.

Technical Expertise:

• Oversee cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to ensure scalable and secure infrastructure.


• Drive data analytics initiatives, including predictive analytics and data visualization.


• Implement AI & Machine Learning technologies to enhance operational efficiency.


• Ensure strong cybersecurity frameworks, including encryption, firewalls, and risk assessments.


• Manage API integration and financial technology solutions to support digital products.

Fintech & Asset Management Expertise:

• Leverage financial technology innovations to enhance asset management solutions.


• Oversee payment, lending, and investment platforms to optimize financial transactions.


• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks (AML, KYC) and financial data governance.

Business Acumen & Financial Management:

• Align IT strategy with business objectives to drive digital and operational efficiencies.


• Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to maintain a competitive edge.


• Manage IT budgets and cost structures effectively to maximize ROI.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.


• 10+ years of IT leadership experience, ideally within asset management or fintech.


• Proven experience in cloud computing, AI, cybersecurity, and digital strategy.


• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.

Salary

N18,000,000 - N20,000,000 per annum.
