Job Summary




  • To strengthen our administrative and operational capacity, we are seeking a reliable, organized, and proactive Administrative Officer II (Male) who will also serve as the Logistics and Maintenance Officer, ensuring the smooth running of daily school operations and pupil transport services.

  • The Administrative Officer II will support the school’s administrative, logistical, and operational activities. The role requires a hands-on, dependable, and disciplined individual who will handle administrative tasks, manage logistics, oversee maintenance operations, and coordinate daily school transport routines with the driver to ensure pupils’ safety and punctuality.



Key Responsibilities

Administrative Duties:




  • Provide daily administrative and clerical support to the school management team.

  • Maintain accurate records, files, and reports related to operations, assets, and logistics.

  • Ensure timely communication and coordination between departments, teachers, and management.

  • Support in procurement, inventory management, and proper documentation of school resources.

  • Assist in monitoring staff attendance, compliance, and punctuality.

  • Handle correspondence, printing, filing, and other administrative duties as assigned.



Logistics & Maintenance:




  • Oversee all logistics and operational arrangements for the school, including supplies, repairs, and facility management.

  • Supervise and schedule routine maintenance for classrooms, equipment, and school property to ensure functionality and cleanliness.

  • Coordinate with artisans and vendors for repairs, maintenance, or service delivery within the school premises.

  • Maintain an updated record of all school assets, repairs, and logistics operations.

  • Ensure safety and proper usage of school facilities and equipment.



School Transport Coordination:




  • Accompany the school driver for daily pupil pick-up and drop-off to ensure children’s safety and orderliness.

  • Maintain a daily transport attendance record of pupils picked up and dropped off.

  • Ensure the school bus is well-maintained, clean, and serviced regularly.

  • Liaise with parents on transport-related matters when necessary.

  • Supervise proper conduct of pupils during transit and ensure strict adherence to safety procedures.

  • Support the driver with route planning and time management for punctual school runs.



Qualifications & Requirements




  • Minimum of OND / NCE / HND / B.Sc. in Business Administration, Management, Education, or a related discipline.

  • Male candidate only (for role suitability and logistics purposes).

  • Minimum of 2 years of administrative or operational experience, preferably in a school or structured organization.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Must be reliable, punctual, and physically fit to handle transport and maintenance supervision.

  • Basic knowledge of facility maintenance and logistics management.

  • Must demonstrate integrity, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.

  • Familiarity with school environments and children’s safety procedures is an added advantage.
