Job Advert to Microwave Technical Engineer

Job objective: 

Engineers within this field apply principles of engineering to fundamentally solve problematic areas within the microwave communication field.

Minimum Experience: 2

Responsibilities:

• Good Telecommunication knowledge with emphases on Huawei microwave Network.


• Familiar with RTN IDU commissioning.


• Familiar with NCE and RTN software upgrade and troubleshooting.


• Excellent English written and spoken communication skills. Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work efficiently in a team.


• International work and multi project experience is desired.


• Can summarize and explain some troubleshooting cases.


• Pass all the exams and join the necessary training.


• Must be willing to travel for long periods of time away from base


• Be on standby 24/7 for remote support as required


• Experience & Lessons Sharing

Job requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in telecom or equivalent degree


• Minimum of 1 year of experience in microwave Systems,- this should include strong experience with Huawei, Ericsson, NSN products etc.


• At least 1 year’s delivery experience.


• Understand the specific procedure of maintenance. Data configuration and commissioning of telecoms systems.


• Have the basic knowledge of microwave Architecture, Interface and Protocols.


• Able to do the troubleshooting under guidance.


• Able to do RTN commissioning and do the ATP test under guidance.


• interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work efficiently in a team.


• International work and multi project experience is desired.


• Familiar with IP transmission principle, able to design OM, Clock and Signaling network


• Specialization: Science and technology/Management


• Knowledge and skills: The following may be Acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training:
