About the Role




  • We are seeking a qualified and experienced Builder, Construction Supervisor, or General Foreman to oversee day-to-day site operations for ongoing construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising site workers, ensuring adherence to plans and specifications, and enforcing safety and quality standards on-site.



Key Responsibilities




  • Coordinate daily site activities and construction operations

  • Supervise and direct site workers, tradesmen, and subcontractors

  • Ensure all work complies with drawings, specifications, and HSE requirements

  • Track daily labour and material usage and prepare progress reports

  • Work closely with site engineers, architects, and vendors to resolve issues

  • Conduct routine site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and timely progress

  • Enforce health and safety protocols among workers and report incidents immediately

  • Maintain daily logs of work done, workforce attendance, and equipment usage

  • Identify potential delays or issues and escalate to management proactively.

  • Keen eyes for straight (vertical and horizontal) lines, surface finishes and finishing detailing

  • Daily or weekly site reporting



Requirements




  • HND/B.Sc. in Building Technology, Construction Management, or related discipline

  • At least 5 years of experience supervising construction activities

  • CORBON registration is mandatory

  • HSE Level 1–3 Certification is required (or active process)

  • Strong reading and interpretation of architectural/structural drawings

  • Leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills

  • Proficient in site documentation and reporting

  • Must be physically fit and willing to work under pressure on fast-paced sites Work Conditions

  • Site-based role (Within Lagos or other assigned project locations in Nigeria)

  • Monday to Saturday work schedule (occasional extended hours or Sundays as needed)
