Roles and Responsibilities

Project Planning and Execution:




  • Develop detailed project plans and oversee end-to-end execution to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery.

  • Supervise design development, approvals, and on-site implementation according to specifications.

  • Monitor progress and resolve issues to maintain project quality, budget, and schedule integrity.



Budgeting and Cost Control:




  • Prepare and manage project budgets, tracking costs and approving expenditures.

  • Review contractors’ claims and recommend cost-efficient alternatives.

  • Ensure financial discipline and alignment with approved cost parameters.



Team Leadership and Coordination:




  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams including architects, engineers, and contractors.

  • Conduct regular meetings to review progress, address issues, and maintain productivity.

  • Provide mentorship and performance oversight to project staff.



Quality Assurance and Compliance:




  • Enforce strict adherence to quality standards, design specifications, and HSE policies.

  • Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards.

  • Liaise with regulatory authorities to secure permits and maintain compliance.



Risk Management:




  • Identify project risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.

  • Track and review emerging risks throughout the project lifecycle.



Stakeholder and Client Management:




  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients, consultants, and contractors.

  • Provide regular progress updates and ensure stakeholder expectations are met.

  • Manage client concerns and ensure satisfaction with project delivery.



Reporting and Documentation:




  • Maintain accurate records of project documents, approvals, and communications.

  • Prepare periodic progress and performance reports for management.



Qualifications and Experience




  • B.Sc./M.Sc. in Engineering or Project Management

  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification

  • 5+ years of project management experience in Real Estate and or Construction industry



Working knowledge, skills and competencies and attributes:




  • Proven project management experience in the real estate or construction industry.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, etc.).

  • In-depth understanding of real estate development and construction processes.

  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively.



Salary

N400,000 - N500,000 / month.
