Location: Akure, Ondo



Key Responsibilities




  • Patient assessment: Perform physical exams, record medical histories, and monitor vital signs to assess patients' needs.

  • Care planning: Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.

  • Medication and treatment: Administer medications and treatments, including IVs, and monitor patients for side effects or reactions.

  • Monitoring and documentation: Monitor patient progress, observe symptoms, and maintain accurate and detailed medical records.

  • Patient and family education: Provide education on health conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.

  • Assisting with procedures: Assist clinicians during medical exams, diagnostic tests, and other procedures.

  • Lab work: Collect blood, urine, and other bodily fluid samples for laboratory testing.

  • Health promotion: Promote patient wellness through counseling and education.

  • Emergency care: Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid and basic life support.

  • Advocacy: Advocate for patient rights, dignity, and autonomy.

  • Supervision: Supervise other nursing staff, such as LPNs and nursing assistants.



Qualifications




  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 2-10 years experience.
