Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager (BDM) will oversee the development and execution of bitMARte’s business growth strategy. This role involves identifying new market opportunities, forming strategic partnerships, driving sales, and ensuring the company meets its short- and long-term revenue objectives. The ideal candidate will be a female (for gender balance) experienced in e-commerce with strong leadership, analytical, and marketing skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a 5-year business growth strategy and annual marketing plan for bitMARte.
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic collaborations to increase revenue.
- Lead customer acquisition and retention strategies to expand the platform’s user base.
- Oversee pricing strategies and ensure competitive yet profitable offerings.
- Drive brand visibility and sales performance through effective marketing initiatives.
- Build and manage relationships with vendors, clients, and key partners.
- Track market trends, analyze data, and make strategic recommendations to management.
- Manage and maintain an accurate business opportunity pipeline.
- Lead and mentor the Business Development and Marketing teams to deliver set targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation of growth initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 12 years post-NYSC experience, with at least 8 years in Sales and Business Development.
- Proven experience in E-commerce and/or ICT industries is required.
- Must have served as a Business Development Manager for at least 2 years.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, develop strategy, and achieve measurable results.
