Our client is a non-bank financial institution in Lagos, Nigeria.



Department: Executive Leadership

Reports To: Board of Directors



Job Purpose



You will serve as the chief executive of the company, responsible for setting strategic direction, driving growth, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining operational excellence. You will lead the executive team and represent the company to stakeholders, regulators, and the public.



Key Responsibilities



Strategic Leadership




  • Develop and execute long-term strategic plans aligned with the institution’s mission and goals.

  • Identify growth opportunities, including new markets, products, and partnerships.

  • Lead organisational transformation and innovation initiatives.



Financial Oversight




  • Oversee financial performance, budgeting, and capital allocation.

  • Ensure profitability, liquidity, and solvency targets are met.

  • Present financial reports and forecasts to the Board.



Governance & Compliance




  • Ensure full compliance with financial regulations, laws, and internal policies.

  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and maintain strong governance frameworks.

  • Promote ethical standards and risk management practices.



Operational Management




  • Supervise senior executives across departments (e.g., Risk, Finance, Operations, HR).

  • Drive operational efficiency and digital transformation.

  • Monitor performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.



Stakeholder Engagement




  • Build and maintain relationships with shareholders, clients, regulators, and partners.

  • Represent the institution in public forums, media, and industry events.

  • Foster a culture of transparency and accountability.



Qualifications & Experience




  • Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in financial services, with at least 5 in executive leadership.

  • Proven track record in strategic planning, financial management, and regulatory compliance.

  • Strong understanding of investment and credit management
