- Be actively involved in the implementation of annual internal audit plan.
- Prepare audit procedures, update working papers with findings and exceptions.
- Raise audit exceptions based on non-compliance with Policies, Standards, Acts etc.
- Follow up on previous audit findings for closure, based on pre-agreed timelines.
- Work with process owners in identifying risks and mitigants.
- Use leading technology and data analytics tools for internal audit tasks.
- Identify performance improvement opportunities for attainment of corporate objectives of the company.
- Obtain and analyse financial information/data.
- Make recommendations on how to improve the internal control system and governance process of the company.
- Carry out spot check periodically.
- Carry out investigations or special assignments as may be assigned.
- Filing/archiving of audit working papers, evidence and reports.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by Superior Officers.
