The Quality Control Officer will ensure that all bakery products meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements.
The role involves monitoring production processes, inspecting raw materials and finished goods, and maintaining hygiene and safety compliance within the facility.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect raw materials, in-process items, and finished products for compliance with quality standards.
Monitor production processes to ensure consistency and adherence to recipes and specifications.
Conduct routine hygiene and environmental checks within production areas.
Document inspection results and prepare quality reports for management.
Identify non-conformities and recommend corrective actions.
Collaborate with production staff to implement quality improvements.
Ensure compliance with NAFDAC, SON, and other food safety standards.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Industrial Chemistry, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a food manufacturing or bakery environment.
Strong understanding of HACCP, GMP, and food safety regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
