Job Summary




  • We are seeking a competent Accountant to join our finance team on the Mainland.

  • The Accountant will support the finance department in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

  • The ideal candidate must be organized, proactive, and experienced with corporate accounting processes.



Key Responsibilities




  • Prepare financial statements, management reports, and monthly reconciliations.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and general ledger entries.

  • Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and expense tracking.

  • Assist in budgeting, cash flow management, and financial forecasting.

  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax regulations, and internal financial controls.

  • Prepare and file statutory returns, including VAT, WHT, PAYE, and other regulatory payments.

  • Support audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.

  • Monitor inventory, assets, and financial documentation.

  • Perform any other accounting duties assigned by management.



Qualifications & Experience




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • 1–3 years relevant accounting experience (Real estate experience is an advantage).

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, or similar).

  • Excellent Excel skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Professional certification (ICAN/ACCA) in progress or completed is an added advantage.
