Summary

• This role is ideal for a polished professional with a strong finance background, excellent leadership ability, and global exposure.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations, including budgeting, financial reporting, reconciliations, and cashflow management.


• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.


• Maintain compliance with regulatory, tax, and audit requirements.


• Lead and mentor the accounting team to drive excellence, efficiency, and accountability.


• Implement strong internal controls and process improvements across finance operations.


• Collaborate with management to support strategic financial planning and investment decisions.


• Manage relationships with banks, auditors, regulatory bodies, and key internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field (Master’s degree is an added advantage).


• Professional qualification such as ICAN, ACCA or equivalent is mandatory.


• Strong accounting experience (minimum 7–10 years) within reputable organizations—preferably within finance, investment, or related sectors.


• International travel exposure outside Africa is required.


• Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, audit coordination, budgeting, and compliance.


• Excellent analytical skills, leadership ability, and attention to detail.


• High integrity, maturity, professionalism, and strong communication skills.
