Job Description
What You’ll Do
Lead the Floor:
- Direct the team during your shift, assign positions, adjust on the fly, and keep communication tight.
- Make quick, practical decisions that protect service speed and food quality.
Own the Guest Experience:
- Step in immediately when something’s off, cold fries, long waits, wrong orders, and fix it without drama.
- Train your team to give the kind of service that creates regulars, not refunds.
Keep Operations Snapping:
- Ensure food safety standards are followed every minute (temperatures, holding times, sanitation, FIFO).
- Anticipate bottlenecks—prep levels, labor distribution, and station readiness—before they hit.
Grow Your Team:
- Coach crew members in real time, whether it’s improving drive-thru pace, organizing the sandwich station, or sharpening communication.
- Hold people accountable in a firm-but-fair way that earns respect, not resentment.
Protect the Business:
- Handle cash management, tills, deposit drops, and shift paperwork with no shortcuts.
- Monitor labor and waste, making smart adjustments to hit daily targets without burning out the team.
What You Bring
- Experience in a fast-paced foodservice environment (supervisory experience a plus, but not required if you’re a proven high performer).
- You move fast, communicate clearly, and don’t get flustered by lines that wrap around the building.
- Ability to coach, motivate, and redirect team members without escalating tension.
- Strong sense of responsibility around safety, cleanliness, and accuracy.
- Comfortable holding others accountable and being held accountable yourself.
