- We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our team and support the smooth running of school operations.
Key Responsibilities
The Administrative Assistant will provide essential clerical and operational support to the Registrar’s office and the wider school. Responsibilities include:
- Front-desk reception duties: welcoming visitors, attending to phone calls and enquiries.
- Managing official correspondence, emails, notices, and document dispatch.
- Maintaining filing systems, student records, and ensuring accurate documentation.
- Supporting registration, admissions, and academic records processes.
- Assisting with data entry, attendance updates, and school database tasks.
- Coordinating meetings, preparing minutes, and supporting school events.
- Managing office supplies and ensuring administrative materials are available.
- Providing general administrative support to the Registrar as required.
- Upholding the school’s professional image, service standards, and confidentiality.
Requirements
- OND / HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Secretarial Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative or front-desk role (preferably in an educational institution).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work professionally and maturely.
- Friendly, courteous, and committed to high-quality service.
