Job Summary:




  • We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Production Chemist to oversee and optimize our pharmaceutical manufacturing operations in Ikeja. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical production, with strong expertise in GMP compliance, production planning, process improvement, and quality assurance. This role requires excellent technical competence, leadership abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high regulatory and safety standards to ensure efficient and compliant product manufacturing.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Supervise and manage day-to-day production operations in line with GMP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.

  • Coordinate with quality, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless execution of production schedules.

  • Monitor equipment functionality, material availability, and manpower allocation for optimal production output.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including batch manufacturing records, deviation reports, and logbooks.

  • Ensure quality control standards are consistently upheld throughout the manufacturing process.

  • Train, guide, and mentor production staff on operational procedures, safety protocols, and best practices.



Qualifications & Requirements:




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm).

  • Minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.

  • Strong knowledge of cGMP, regulatory compliance, and pharmaceutical production processes.

  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.

  • Proficiency in documentation processes and production-related software systems.
