- The General Manager will lead the overall operations, strategy, and financial performance . Based in Abuja and reporting to the Managing Director, the GM ensures exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and profitability while upholding the hotel’s brand values and service standards.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Providing strategic leadership across all hotel departments and translating business goals into actionable plans.
- Overseeing daily operations to ensure efficiency, quality service, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Managing financial performance by preparing budgets, monitoring key metrics (occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, GOP), and driving revenue and cost control.
- Supporting Sales & Marketing to grow occupancy, events, and brand visibility, while maintaining top-tier guest relations.
- Leading HR functions including recruitment, training, performance management, and fostering a culture of accountability and service excellence.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 8–10 years progressive hotel management experience; minimum 3 years in senior leadership.
- Strong operational, financial, and guest service expertise, with experience from major hotel chains as an advantage.
