We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Account Officer to join our Finance team.
The ideal candidate will support the Treasury department in executing payment operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of financial transactions.
This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
2-4 years relevant working experience in Treasury,Finance, or Accounting.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Proficiency in MS Office tools and familiarity with e-banking platforms.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
High level of integrity and attention to detail.
Skills:
Process approved payments on e-banking platforms.
Generate payment vouchers for management approvals.
Liaise with bank account officers to resolve payment Issues.
Send payment advice and invoice Status updates to vendors.
Clarify issues related to vendor payment advice.
Maintain a detailed register of all payments made.
Allocate payments to projects to support management decision-making.
Ensure proper documentation and filing of payment vouchers and supporting documents.
