Description

• The Waiter / Waitress is responsible for delivering excellent customer service by taking orders accurately, serving food and drinks promptly, maintaining a clean service area, and ensuring guests have a pleasant dining experience.


• This role represents the brand’s warmth, professionalism, and service culture.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Order Taking:

• Welcome guests warmly and present menus professionally.


• Take orders accurately and input them into the POS system.


• Provide menu knowledge, make recommendations, and answer customer questions.


• Serve food and drinks promptly and correctly.

Brand Representation:

• Maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance at all times.


• Uphold the brand’s service standards—friendly, respectful, and attentive.


• Handle customer concerns politely and escalate when necessary.

Dining Area Management:

• Set up tables, chairs, and the dining area before opening.


• Ensure tables are clean, properly set, and ready for the next guest.


• Clear tables promptly and ensure quick turnover.


• Maintain cleanliness of service stations, cutlery, and trays.

Order Accuracy & Communication:

• Confirm all orders before serving.


• Communicate clearly with kitchen and bar teams.


• Ensure all modifications or allergies are properly passed to the kitchen.

Cash Handling & POS:

• Process payments via POS (cash, card, transfer) accurately.


• Issue receipts and handle cash responsibly.


• Report any discrepancies immediately.

Hygiene & Safety:

• Follow all food safety and hygiene standards.


• Ensure trays, cutlery, and glassware are sanitized.


• Adhere to all company safety procedures.

Team Support:

• Assist colleagues during peak hours.


• Participate in daily briefings and trainings.


• Uphold teamwork and support FOH/BOH where needed.
