Responsibilities

• Process new account opening requests (savings, current, fixed deposit, loan-related accounts).


• Receive and process customer deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan repayments, and other cash transactions.


• Post transactions into the core banking application promptly and correctly.


• Handle currency, transactions, and confidential information in a responsible manner.


• Provide support to customers by addressing their inquiries and resolving their complaints.


• Balance vault transactions, cash movements, and maintain accurate teller proof sheets.


• Comply with CBN, AML/CFT, and bank operational policies.


• Ensure proper filing and documentation of all transactions.


• Cross sell the bank products, assist customers in completing forms and applications.


• Process and book loans accurately.


• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering prompt and professional service.


• Other responsibilities assigned.

Requirements

• Candidate must have OND / HND qualification / B.Sc Certificate in any field.


• 1 - 2 years of experience in banking operations preferably in a microfinance institution.


• Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.


• Familiar with banking operations, policies and regulatory requirements.
