Role Summary




  • The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales function and driving revenue growth across the logistics business.

  • The ideal candidate will develop and implement sales strategies, manage key accounts, supervise the sales team, and consistently achieve corporate sales targets.

  • This role requires strong leadership, market insight, and the ability to secure new business opportunities while maintaining high-value client relationships.



Key Responsibilities




  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and support business expansion.

  • Identify new business opportunities, emerging market trends, and customer needs within the courier/logistics industry.

  • Build, nurture, and manage strong client relationships; oversee key account activities to ensure excellent service delivery.

  • Lead, motivate, and supervise the sales team to ensure high productivity and consistent achievement of individual and team targets.

  • Drive customer acquisition initiatives and negotiate profitable contracts.

  • Track and analyze sales performance using CRM tools and sales data to inform decision-making.

  • Prepare and present periodic sales reports, forecasts, and performance insights to senior management.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance customer experience and strengthen market presence.

  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings to promote brand visibility.

  • Perform other sales-related duties as assigned.



Experience & Qualifications




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.

  • 5–7 years of proven sales experience, preferably in logistics, courier services, transportation, or FMCG sectors.

  • Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding revenue targets and driving business growth.

  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to make data-driven decisions using CRM systems and sales analytics tools.



Salary

NGN700,000 - NGN800,000 Monthly.
