Role Summary
- The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales function and driving revenue growth across the logistics business.
- The ideal candidate will develop and implement sales strategies, manage key accounts, supervise the sales team, and consistently achieve corporate sales targets.
- This role requires strong leadership, market insight, and the ability to secure new business opportunities while maintaining high-value client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and support business expansion.
- Identify new business opportunities, emerging market trends, and customer needs within the courier/logistics industry.
- Build, nurture, and manage strong client relationships; oversee key account activities to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Lead, motivate, and supervise the sales team to ensure high productivity and consistent achievement of individual and team targets.
- Drive customer acquisition initiatives and negotiate profitable contracts.
- Track and analyze sales performance using CRM tools and sales data to inform decision-making.
- Prepare and present periodic sales reports, forecasts, and performance insights to senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance customer experience and strengthen market presence.
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings to promote brand visibility.
- Perform other sales-related duties as assigned.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of proven sales experience, preferably in logistics, courier services, transportation, or FMCG sectors.
- Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding revenue targets and driving business growth.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to make data-driven decisions using CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
Salary
NGN700,000 - NGN800,000 Monthly.
