This is a full-time on-site role located in Lagos for a Procurement Specialist. The Procurement Specialist will manage the procurement process, including sourcing and purchasing materials, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Additional responsibilities include maintaining supplier relationships, evaluating vendor performance, and collaborating with internal teams to plan and forecast procurement needs. The role also involves handling inventory management and conducting cost analyses to optimize procurement strategies.
Qualifications
Strong understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, and supply chain operations
Excellent negotiation and communication skills for interacting effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Proficiency in inventory management and cost analysis strategies
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Working knowledge of procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Previous experience in the real estate or construction industry is an advantage
