Responsibilities

• Planning and design: Develop plans and designs for a wide range of projects, including buildings, highways, airports, dams, bridges, and water and sewage systems.


• Site investigation: Conduct on-site investigations and feasibility studies to assess project requirements and potential risks.


• Project management: Manage budgets, schedules, and resources, and oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to plans.


• Technical documentation: Prepare engineering reports, detailed drawings, specifications, and other construction documents.


• Compliance and risk assessment: Ensure projects comply with all environmental, safety, and zoning regulations. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.


• Collaboration: Work with and provide technical guidance to clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Educational background: A Bachelor's degree in civil engineering is typically required.


• 5 - 10 years of experience with previous experience in EPC projects


• COREN registered and PMP is an advantage


• Technical skills: Proficiency in design software, strong mathematical skills, and a solid understanding of construction principles.


• Problem-solving: Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.


• Communication: Excellent communication skills are essential for collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.


• Leadership: Ability to lead project teams effectively.
