Key Responsibilities

• Oil & Gas bid document preparation


• Contract negotiation with external vendors e.g NNPC, Shell, Napins, NPDC and other IOCs


• Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities 


• Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met


• Design, analyse, and implement engineering solutions in support of oil and gas operations and related infrastructure.


• Review engineering specifications, drawings, and project documentation to ensure compliance with technical and safety standards.


• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (civil, mechanical, electrical, process, and project management) to deliver project objectives.


• Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and technical evaluations for new or ongoing projects.


• Supervise installation, maintenance, and commissioning of systems and equipment as applicable.


• Monitor project execution to ensure adherence to scope, budget, and quality targets.


• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and interface with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities.


• Support continuous improvement, safety, and operational efficiency initiatives within project teams.


• Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and reports issues 

Requirements

• The candidate mut have an engineering and administration related experience. He/she must have a high drive in restructuring and transformation and also result oriented in businesses that are used to assessing manager’s based KPI and results.


• He or she must also have the ambition and energy to deliver on projects transcending what the group is doing.


• Excellent leadership skills with ability to work as a team leader, supervisor and manager and also  special skills in detecting rare talent and nurturing such talent is also essential.


• The right candidate must be methodical in his or her approach with a multi-talented background, with a “willing” and ready to learn “approach” He or she must also be able to demonstrate a understanding. Other useful experience in IT, Legal and Accounting are also an added      advantage.


• He must have proficiency Certification in Computer Packages in relation to the job, working knowledge of any or 2 of the following AutoCad, Archid, Civilcad Orion.


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.


• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary project team.
