About the Role




  • We are a leading consulting firm seeking a young, creative, and highly organized Junior Visual Graphic Designer & Content Editor.

  • The successful candidate will support our consultants by producing visually polished client deliverables, creating reusable Word and PowerPoint templates, and ensuring all documents reflect professional consulting standards.

  • In addition to designing and enhancing reports and presentations, the role includes training consultants on best practices for formatting, layout, and design within Microsoft Office tools.



Key Responsibilities

Template Development:




  • Design and develop professional Word templates, including report layouts, proposal formats, cover pages, and branded document structures.

  • Create PowerPoint templates and slide libraries for pitch decks, project updates, strategy presentations, and workshop materials.

  • Ensure all templates are intuitive, easy for consultants to use, and aligned with brand and consulting standards.

  • Maintain and update templates periodically to reflect evolving needs.



Document & Presentation Enhancement:




  • Format, structure, and visually enhance client deliverables such as reports, proposals, frameworks, implementation plans, and research summaries.

  • Produce clean, modern, and persuasive PowerPoint decks for client engagements.

  • Convert data, insights, and analysis into diagrams, charts, process flows, and infographics.

  • Ensure documents are consistent, professional, and error-free.



Content Editing & Writing:




  • Edit and refine text for clarity, grammar, tone, and logical flow.

  • Ensure content adheres to professional consulting communication standards.

  • Strengthen key messages in proposals, executive summaries, and client reports.

  • Provide light copywriting when needed.



Internal Training & Support:




  • Train consultants on effective use of Word and PowerPoint, including formatting, layout design, use of templates, and data visualization basics.

  • Provide short tutorials, tip sheets, and best-practice guidelines to help teams improve document quality.

  • Offer on-demand support for urgent formatting or design tasks.



Collaboration:




  • Work directly with consultants, analysts, and project leads to understand content requirements.

  • Incorporate feedback efficiently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

  • Ensure confidentiality and professionalism with all client-related materials.



Required Skills & Qualifications




  • ND/HND/Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Mass Communication, Visual Arts, Marketing, or related field.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint (advanced formatting is essential).

  • Excellent command of written English with strong editing skills.

  • Ability to simplify information and create clean, structured layouts.

  • Strong visual sense: typography, spacing, alignment, and hierarchy.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and conduct basic training sessions.

  • High attention to detail and the ability to work in a demanding consulting environment.



Nice-to-Have Skills:




  • Experience designing corporate templates or brand guideline documents.

  • Basic skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or InDesign.

  • Understanding of consulting-style slides and business storytelling.

  • Familiarity with Nigerian business standards for formal communication.
