Description

• Ensure and monitor the safety of personnel and installations as well as protection of the environment.


• Carry out preliminary, basic and detailed engineering studies/in-house design for the Civil and Structural Engineering discipline for on/offshore projects.


• Prepares Civil and Structural General Arrangement Drawings, Specifications, Material Take Of (Design Reports, and other relevant deliverables.


• Interface with Procurement Dept., Survey and Geomatics, and Projects & Construction sections for resolution of Civil and Structural Engineering concerns.


• Support Technical Evaluation of Civil / Structural Engineering Contractors / Vendors.

Requirements

• Minimum Qualification: B.Sc. / B.Eng. (Structures) with 10 - 15 years’ experience in an Engineering Organization in a similar design position.


• Use of AutoCAD & proficiency in use of SACS, STAADPro, NSO/ISYMOST (Fastrudl, Isymost) are a must.


• Knowledge of AVEVA E3D and Microstation as well ability prepare detailed structural drawings a plus.


• Demonstrable knowledge of Industry Codes and Standards (British Standards, Eurocodes, ISO, API, DNV, etc.).


• Good Communication in English and Interpersonal skills.
