Job Introduction

• Adexen is seeking a skilled QHSE Manager to lead Quality Management, ensure regulatory compliance, and strengthen safety culture within a leading marine & oil & gas services provider in Nigeria.

Responsibilities

The QHSE Manager oversees the Quality Management System (QMS), drives continuous improvement, and ensures compliance with ISO, IMO, and Nigerian regulatory standards. The role supports operational excellence and promotes a Zero-Harm culture.

• Implement and maintain the QMS and annual Quality Plan.


• Lead internal and external audits (ISO, ISM/ISPS/MLC).


• Manage non-conformities, RCA, and corrective actions.


• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001/14001/45001/50001 and maritime regulations.


• Support HSE programs, PTW, drills, and environmental standards.


• Liaise with client auditors and regulatory bodies.


• Provide QHSE training and promote a safety culture.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Maritime, or Sciences preferred).


• 5+ years Oil & Gas experience, including 2+ years in QHSE.


• Internal/Lead Auditor certification preferred.


• Strong understanding of ISO, maritime regulations, and risk management.


• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
