Job Summary




  • The Supply Chain Officer will support the end-to-end supply chain process, focusing on procurement, inventory control, warehouse coordination, and production support.

  • The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in a manufacturing or field operations environment and be able to manage daily activities efficiently and in line with company policies.



Key Responsibilities




  • Procurement & Vendor Management:

    • Source and evaluate suppliers for raw materials, consumables, packaging, and operational items.

    • Conduct constant price surveys and advise management on market trends.

    • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery timelines.

    • Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with company standards.



  • Inventory & Warehouse Management:

    • Track inventory and maintain optimal stock levels to support production.

    • Work closely with warehouse teams to ensure proper storage, documentation, and FIFO rotation.

    • Conduct periodic stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.



  • Production & Field Support:

    • Work with production teams to forecast material requirements.

    • Follow up on supply needs to prevent stockouts or production delays.

    • Support field operations where necessary to ensure smooth coordination across locations.





Qualifications & Requirements




  • B.Sc Degree / HND qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years of relevant experience.

  • At least 2 years in a similar role within a manufacturing or structured field operations environment.

  • Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong data analysis ability; proficiency in MS Excel. Experience with ERP or supply chain digital tools is an added advantage.

  • Proactive, reliable, organized, and able to work independently, especially in field-based environments.

  • Solid understanding of procurement and inventory management processes.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Must be based in Lagos or Osun State.
