Job Description







  • The Company is seeking to hire an experienced Head, Business Development Manager who will be responsible for driving business growth, expanding the client base, leading product development initiatives, and ensuring the efficient delivery of services to clients. The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of the capital market registrar operations



Key Responsibilities:




  • Lead the development and rollout of at least one new product annually to enhance market competitiveness.

  • Drive sales of the Virtual Reporting Solution (VRS) to meet set revenue targets.

  • Ensure timely delivery of client bills on or before the 3rd of every month.

  • Achieve yearly acquisition targets: a minimum of 5 Bond Registers, 10 Equity Registers, and 10 Mutual Fund Registers.

  • Provide timely and accurate responses to all client queries and report requests within 24 hours.

  • Ensure the dispatch of monthly client reports on or before the 7th of every month.

  • Maintain proper and up‑to‑date record keeping for all client information, transactions, and correspondence.

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to expand market share and enhance brand visibility.

  • Manage and mentor the sales team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

  • Build and sustain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.

  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.

  • Prepare periodic sales reports and performance updates for management decision‑making.



Requirements



Education/Qualifications:




  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

  • Master’s degree or a relevant professional certification is an added advantage.

  • Minimum of 9–12 years of experience in sales or business development within the capital market ecosystem.



Skills & Competencies




  • Strong knowledge of capital market operations, particularly registrar services.

  • Excellent sales, negotiation, and business development skills.

  • Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities.

  • Exceptional communication and client relationship management.

  • Ability to lead and motivate a high‑performing team.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
