Job Description
The Program Officer is responsible for working with the organization program team for planning and implementation of projects within the organization. This role involves working with various stakeholders, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, and achieving program goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Design, plan, and implement programs aligned with the organization’s mission and strategic goals.
- Conduct needs assessments and research to identify community priorities and target beneficiaries.
- Develop project proposals, logical frameworks, work plans, and budgets.
- Oversee and coordinate program activities to ensure timely delivery of outputs and milestones.
- Supervise field staff, volunteers, and partner organizations to ensure effective program execution.
- Ensure programs comply with donor requirements and organizational policies.
- Build and maintain relationships with relevant key partners, donors, and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, donor requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate records of program activities and transactions.
- Prepare and submit reports to donors, management, and other stakeholders.
- Provide program training and support to staff and volunteers to enhance their capacity to implement program activities.
- Identify and address capacity-building needs within the program team.
- This role involves overseeing multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery, and managing cross-functional teams.
Requirements:
- Minimum - BSc/HND in related field
- Min 2yrs experience in Project Management.
- Experience in HIV, TB, OVC or KP intervention will be an added advantage.
- Residential proximity to Yaba
- Proficiency in computer Microsoft packages.
- Experience in managing previous USAID or Global Fund Grant is an advantage!
