Overview




  • Our client is seeking a bold, highly driven commercial leader to take full ownership of revenue generation across our portfolio.

  • Your mandate is simple and critical: generate immediate, substantial cash flow.

  • You are not just a salesperson, you are a commercial operator who activates assets, closes high-value deals, and drives aggressive growth from Day 1.



Key Responsibilities



Commercial Planning & Strategy:




  • Develop and execute 30-60-90 day commercial plans for the existing portfolio.

  • Drive data-informed strategies to achieve aggressive revenue targets.

  • Identify high-impact opportunities to quickly unlock cashflow.



Lead Generation & Deal Closure:




  • Personally generate, pursue, and close high-value deals across the company’s three verticals.

  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of corporate, government, and enterprise clients.

  • Negotiate and finalise complex B2B and high-stakes commercial agreements.



Portfolio Management & Optimisation:




  • Oversee and analyse the commercial performance of all ventures.

  • Evaluate revenue streams, spot gaps, and optimise underperforming assets.

  • Identify untapped opportunities for growth, expansion, or restructuring.



Stakeholder & Partner Management:



Cultivate strong relationships with key partners, including:




  • Corporate clients.

  • Government agencies.

  • Local vendors & suppliers.



Cross-Functional & Executive Collaboration:




  • Work directly with the Founder to provide real-time market intelligence.

  • Influence and help shape the broader commercial strategy for the organisation.

  • Collaborate with operations, finance, and technical teams to ensure commercial objectives are met.



Qualifications & Experience




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

  • Minimum of 5 years in senior commercial, business development, or sales leadership roles.

  • Proven experience in one or more of the following:

    • Real estate leasing.

    • Retail fuel sales & operations.

    • B2B contract negotiation (asset-heavy or construction environments preferred).



  • A strong, established network within the Abuja business ecosystem is a major advantage.
