  • The CHEW will deliver essential primary healthcare services, support health promotion initiatives, and assist in providing basic medical care to individuals and families within the community.



Key Responsibilities




  • Check and record vital signs — weight, height, temperature, blood pressure, respiration rate

  • Support patients in adhering to treatment plans

  • Assist Nursing Officers in delivering basic medical and preventive care

  • Provide support for nutrition, mental health, prenatal care, and general well-being

  • Deliver high-quality health education to clients

  • Ensure strict compliance with clinical governance in Radiology

  • Serve as a patient chaperone to various consulting rooms

  • Record patient information in computerized logs

  • Document all Radiology activities accurately and promptly



Qualifications & Skills




  • Diploma in Community Health from a recognized institution

  • Valid CHEW license from the Community Health Practitioners Registration Board of Nigeria

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a primary healthcare or community setting

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • Knowledge of public health practices and protocols

  • Compassionate, patient-centered, and culturally sensitive

  • Proficient in basic medical procedures and healthcare tools
