About the Role




  • The Product Marketer sits at the centre of product, brand, and growth.

  • You’ll be responsible for crafting clear messaging, creating content that converts, understanding user needs, and driving adoption among buyers and sellers.

  • You’ll work closely with the founding team, meaning your work will directly shape how millions of Nigerians discover and trust SAFETRANSACT.

  • You produce video, copy, and campaign ideas that improve engagement and drive consistent user growth.

  • You become a key voice in shaping how SAFETRANSACT shows up publicly; from social to email to product announcements.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include:




  • Develop and refine SAFETRANSACT’s product messaging across all channels.

  • Create compelling video content, social media campaigns, and product explainers that increase product adoption.

  • Conduct customer and market research to deeply understand buyer and vendor behaviour.

  • Lead go-to-market execution for new features, updates, and product releases.

  • Collaborate with product and design teams to ensure user insights shape product decisions.

  • Track performance metrics (engagement, CVR, retention) and optimise campaigns accordingly.

  • Develop and execute growth experiments, including referral programs, onboarding flows, and targeted campaigns.

  • Represent the product in brand videos, user education clips, and marketing content (very preferred).



Qualifications

  • Strong experience in product marketing, digital marketing, or growth marketing.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to craft clear, compelling stories for different audiences.

  • Strong understanding of social media, short-form video, and performance content.

  • Ability to analyse data, identify insights, and optimise campaigns.

  • Experience with user research or customer interviews (bonus).

  • Experience with fintech, e-commerce, or product-led growth (bonus but not required).

  • A proactive mindset: someone who can own projects end-to-end.
