In this role, the Facility Officer will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, and readiness of facilities across all locations. You will ensure that equipment, tools, and physical infrastructure are functional, well-maintained, and compliant with safety standards to support seamless daily and operational activities.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily upkeep of buildings, service areas, and storage spaces across branches.
Monitor the functionality and condition of tools, equipment, and infrastructure.
Schedule and follow up on maintenance and repair work.
Liaise with service vendors for cleaning, repairs, fumigation, and utilities.
Assist with managing facility-related supplies, materials, and budgets.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure facility integrity and identify issues.
Keep accurate logs of maintenance activities, incidents, and asset movement.
Ensure all premises comply with health, safety, and operational standards.
Coordinate logistics for setup and teardown of physical assets as required.
Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies and resolve issues.
Requirements
Minimum of OND or HND in Facility Management, Engineering, or related field.
Certification in facility or safety management is an added advantage.
2–3 years’ experience in facility or maintenance roles.
Experience in an event-related or hospitality environment is a plus.
Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance
Good planning and problem-solving skills
Strong recordkeeping and reporting abilities
Ability to coordinate vendors and service providers
