We are seeking an experienced and result-driven Quality Control Lead to head the quality assurance and control function in our peanut manufacturing facility.
The ideal candidate will ensure that all products meet regulatory, safety, and internal quality standards across the entire production process.
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the QC team across production and packaging lines
Develop, implement, and enforce quality control procedures and SOPs
Ensure full compliance with NAFDAC, SON, HACCP, and GMP standards
Oversee quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods
Review QC reports, investigate deviations, and implement corrective actions
Coordinate internal and external quality audits
Collaborate with Production, Storage, and Supply Chain teams
Train production and QC staff on food safety and quality best practices
Drive continuous improvement in product quality and safety
Requirements
HND/BSc in Food Science & Technology, Food Production, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or related discipline
4 - 6 years quality experience in an FMCG/food manufacturing company
At least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role
Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, ISO standards, and food safety regulations
Excellent leadership, communication, and reporting skills
Hands-on experience in snack food processing is a strong advantage
