We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control (QC) Officer to ensure that all products meet approved quality, safety, and regulatory standards before, during, and after production.
Responsibilities
Monitor and inspect raw materials, production processes, and finished products
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and GMP standards
Conduct routine quality checks on production and packaging processes
Identify defects and recommend corrective actions
Maintain accurate quality control records and reports
Enforce adherence to NAFDAC, SON, and internal quality standards
Collaborate with Production, Storage, and Management teams
Support internal and external quality audits
Requirements
HND/BSc in Food Science & Technology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or related field, 1–3 years of QC experience in an FMCG or food manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and quality control procedures
Good observation, reporting, and documentation skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Familiarity with peanut processing is an added advantage
