Job Summary
- The Restaurant Server is responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests have a positive dining experience.
- The role requires strongcommunication skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables when required.
- Present menus and provide detailed information on food and beverage options.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the appropriate system or process.
- Serve meals and beverages promptly and professionally.
- Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction with their dining experience.
- Communicate customer orders clearly to the kitchen and bar teams.
- Ensure correct meal delivery to the right tables.
- Assist in packaging take-away orders where necessary.
- Handle customer complaints courteously and escalate when required.
- Clean and reset tables quickly for incoming guests.
Qualifications & Requirements
- SSCE / OND qualification preferred.
- Previous experience as a Server or Customer Service staff is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of food and beverage service procedures.
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and remain courteous at all times.
- Neat appearance, good grooming, and a positive attitude.
- Physical stamina to stand and walk for long hours
Working Hours:
- Shift-based schedule depending on restaurant operations.
- Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Reporting Line:
- Reports to the Restaurant Supervisor, Floor Manager, or Restaurant Manager.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: N60,000 / Month.
- Additional benefits may include staff meals and overtime compensation.
