Role Summary




  • We are inviting a passionate and well-grounded educator to join our upper primary team. The ideal candidate must be a confident and articulate female teacher who brings skill, energy, and a genuine love for helping young learners grow academically and personally.

  • This role requires a teacher who can deliver strong, engaging lessons in literacy and other upper primary subjects while managing a well-structured classroom. The teacher will serve as a class leader, mentor pupils, collaborate with colleagues, and support school-wide activities.



Key Responsibilities




  • Teach core areas of literacy, including comprehension, creative writing, grammar, spelling, and verbal reasoning.

  • Prepare pupils for internal and external competitions such as debates and spelling challenges.

  • Create weekly lesson plans using play-based learning, experiential methods, and constructive pedagogy.

  • Maintain an organized and safe learning environment while properly using and handling classroom equipment.

  • Assess pupils regularly through classwork, quizzes, projects, and reports, and provide timely feedback.

  • Manage class behavior with a calm, firm, and nurturing approach.

  • Communicate professionally with parents and keep accurate records of each learner’s progress.

  • Supervise clubs and co-curricular activities, including entrepreneurship initiatives.

  • Represent the school at official events and support programmes beyond classroom teaching.

  • Collaborate with school leadership and contribute to digital content showcasing learning experiences.



Qualifications & Requirements




  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field from a reputable institution (Nigeria or abroad).

  • TRCN certification (mandatory).

  • Minimum of 3 years’ teaching experience in Grades 3–5within a structured school environment.

  • Skilled in literacy instruction and the implementation of play-based, constructivist, and experiential learning methods.

  • Confident, articulate, well-presented, and able to demonstrate leadership and professionalism in all interactions.

  • Competence in lesson planning, student assessment, differentiated instruction, classroom management, and ICT integration.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with parents and work collaboratively with colleagues.
