Key Responsibilities

Lithium-Ion Battery System Expertise:




  • Perform assembly and disassembly of lithium-ion battery packs, modules, and cells following safety and manufacturer guidelines.

  • Troubleshoot and repair issues related to:

  • Battery Management Systems (BMS)

  • Thermal management components



Charging systems:




  • Cell balancing and protection circuits

  • Voltage irregularities, capacity loss, and internal resistance problems

  • Conduct diagnostic testing, including voltage checks, capacity tests, impedance testing, and fault isolation.

  • Maintain detailed service logs and test reports for all battery-related activities.

  • Ensure all work complies with electrical codes, industry standards, and hazardous material precautions.



Electrical Maintenance Duties:




  • Perform routine inspection, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems within Aldelano Farms, including:

  • Power distribution panels

  • Motors, pumps, and control systems

  • Refrigeration units, lighting systems, and sensors

  • Backup energy systems (solar, inverters, and generators if applicable)

  • Diagnose electrical faults using meters, testing devices, and system schematics.

  • Install, upgrade, or replace wiring, circuit breakers, switches, and other electrical components.

  • Respond to electrical emergencies and perform corrective actions to minimize downtime.

  • Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to support farm automation and energy reliability.



Safety, Compliance, and Documentation:




  • Adhere strictly to battery safety protocols, PPE requirements, and handling/storage regulations.

  • Comply with OSHA, NEC, and internal safety policies.

  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and troubleshooting reports.

  • Participate in safety training, audits, and preventive maintenance planning.



Required Qualifications




  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Renewable Energy, or related field.

  • Proven hands-on experience working with lithium-ion battery systems (assembly, repair, diagnostics).

  • Strong knowledge of DC/AC electrical systems, wiring, and maintenance procedures.

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and BMS data.

  • Experience using multimeters, load testers, oscilloscopes, torque tools, and other diagnostic equipment.

  • Understanding of battery chemistry, lifecycle behavior, and failure modes.

  • Knowledge of safety protocols for high-voltage and energy storage systems.
