Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems, refrigeration units, and related HVAC equipment


• Diagnose and troubleshoot cooling system problems using appropriate tools and testing devices


• Perform routine servicing, cleaning, and inspections on A/C systems to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns


• Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and HVAC schematics


• Identify cooling requirements for new installations or renovations and recommend suitable A/C solutions


• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, refrigerant usage, and installations


• Monitor and manage the inventory of HVAC tools, spare parts, and consumables


• Respond promptly to emergency A/C faults to reduce downtime and maintain comfort levels


• Ensure work areas are kept clean, safe, and compliant with HVAC safety standards


• Perform any other duties related to HVAC tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma or technical certification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, HVAC Technology, or a related field


• Minimum of 3 - 5 years proven experience as an A/C or HVAC technician


• Strong knowledge of air conditioning and refrigeration systems


• Ability to read and interpret HVAC diagrams, wiring layouts, and technical manuals


• Familiarity with HVAC safety standards, environmental regulations, and refrigerant handling procedures


• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills


• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
