Job Description







  • We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Site Engineer (Multi-state construction projects) to oversee perimeter fencing construction projects across multiple states in Nigeria. The ideal candidate will manage on-site technical execution, ensure adherence to quality and safety standards, supervise contractors/artisans, and coordinate project delivery according to approved drawings, BOQs, and timelines. This role requires frequent travel between multiple project sites.



Key Responsibilities



Project Supervision & Execution




  • Oversee day-to-day construction activities for multiple sites.

  • Ensure compliance with project drawings, specifications, BOQ, and standards.

  • Conduct setting-out, measurements, leveling, and quality checks.

  • Supervise artisans, subcontractors, and labour teams.



Quality Assurance




  • Inspect materials to ensure compliance with approved standards.

  • Monitor workmanship and enforce corrective actions.

  • Prepare daily/weekly progress reports with photos.



Project Coordination




  • Liaise with the Project Manager, QS, and procurement team.

  • Track and manage material requirements.

  •  Schedule and supervise major activities: foundation, blockwork, concrete works, gate installation, finishing.



Health, Safety & Environment Compliance




  • Ensure adherence to HSE standards.

  • Enforce PPE usage and safe working procedures.

  • Report incidents and hazards promptly.



Multi-State Operations




  • Travel to multiple project locations.

  • Manage workflow and progress across different sites.

  • Liaise with local stakeholders, school administrators, and security.



Qualifications & Requirements




  • B.Eng / B.Tech / HND in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, or related field.

  • 3–5+ years of construction supervision experience.

  • COREN registration is an advantage.

  • Strong understanding of civil works, materials, and supervision.

  • Ability to read drawings and BOQs.

  • Strong reporting and communication skills.

  • Must be willing to travel across states.

  • Highly organized and proactive.



Contract Details




  • Duration: 3 to 6 months.

  • Compensation: Competitive.

  • Travel, accommodation, and logistics may be provided.

  • Possible extension based on performance.
