The Solar Engineer will support the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of solarsystems across residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in the design, planning, and analysis of solar PV systems (rooftop, ground-mounted, hybrid, and off-grid).
Conduct load assessments, shading analysis, and system performance estimations.
Support installation, commissioning, and routine maintenance of solar energy projects.
Collaborate with senior engineers to troubleshoot technical issues and optimize system performance.
Participate in site surveys, prepare engineering documentation, and contribute to project reports.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.
Learn directly from experienced engineers through mentorship, shadowing, and technical training.
Stay up to date on industry advancements, equipment, and innovative solar solutions.
Qualifications & Skills
B.Sc ./ B.Eng. in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
1 – 3 years of relevant experience in solar systems (graduates with internship/NYSC experience may also apply).
Solid understanding of electrical systems, renewable energy concepts, and safety regulations.
Proficiency in solar design tools/software (e.g., PVsyst, Helioscope, AutoCAD) is an added advantage.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and teamwork skills.
Willingness to learn and grow under mentorship from experienced engineers.
