  • Our client in the real estate industry is seeking a highly driven and results-oriented Business Development Executive to join their dynamic team. The company specializes in delivering premium property developments across Lagos and beyond, with a strong focus on investment value, design quality, and client-centered execution. 

  • The Business Development Executive will play a critical role in driving sales, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong, lasting relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will be proactive, persuasive, and target-driven, capable of closing deals via phone, WhatsApp, email, and face-to-face interactions. This role requires someone confident in client engagement, passionate about real estate, and able to meet consistently or exceed sales targets, contributing directly to the company’s growth objectives. 



Summary of Responsibilities




  • Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Identifying potential clients and converting leads to closed property sales. 

  • Present and promote property offerings across multiple channels, phone, WhatsApp, email, social media, and physical meetings.

  • Conduct site inspections, property tours, and in-person client engagements. 

  • Meet and consistently exceed assigned sales targets and performance metrics.

  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline and follow up proactively on all leads and inquiries.  



Client Relationship Management  




  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients. 

  • Understand client needs and recommend suitable property solutions.

  • Provide timely responses to client questions, objections, and concerns. 

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business. 

  • Manage client records and track interactions for future engagement. 



Business Opportunity Development 




  • Identify new business opportunities within assigned territories and emerging markets. 

  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.

  • Recommend strategies to enhance visibility, product positioning, and market penetration. 

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals, presentations, and marketing content that support sales efforts. 



Client Engagement & Site Inspections 




  • Coordinate and conduct property site inspections for prospective clients.

  • Present products or services confidently through virtual and physical channels. 

  • Provide accurate information about property features, pricing, and benefits.



Communication & Reporting 




  • Prepare and deliver professional sales pitches, presentations, and proposals. 

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of sales activities, prospects, and closed transactions. 

  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and market feedback. 

  • Communicate customer insights into management for improved service delivery and product development.



Customer Service & After-Sales Support 




  • Assist clients through the entire sales process from initial contact to closing. 

  • Ensure seamless onboarding of new clients and coordination with internal teams for documentation. 

  • Provide after-sales support for clients to ensure a smooth transition and positive experience. 

  • Address post-transaction inquiries or issues promptly and professionally  



Requirements




  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Estate management, Marketing or related field. 

  • 3–5 years of proven experience in real estate sales, brokerage, or other high-ticket sales environments.

  • Demonstrates a strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

  • Highly persuasive, target-driven, and confident in closing deals across phone, WhatsApp, email, and face-to-face interactions. 

  • Customer-focused with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills. 

  • Persistent, confident, and capable of navigating challenges throughout the sales cycle. 

  • Ability to manage multiple prospects efficiently while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. 

  • A proactive problem-solver with a strong drive for results, growth, and innovation. 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and general computer applications. 

  • Possesses strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. 

  • Ability to explain property products clearly and services to potential clients. 

  • Maintains a calm and professional attitude, with the ability to handle objections and rejection gracefully. 

  • Has an excellent command of the English language. 

  • Goal-driven, self-motivated, and able to meet or exceed sales targets consistently 

  • Professional appearance and conduct 

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
