We need a Pediatric Nephrologist who will provide specialist care for infants, children, and adolescents with kidney and urinary tract disorders.
The role involves diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of pediatric renal diseases, including acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, nephrotic syndrome, congenital anomalies, and electrolyte disorders.
The Specialist will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, compassionate, and evidence-based care.
Qualifications
MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
Residency in Pediatrics (FWACP Paediatrics / FMCP Paediatrics or equivalent).
Subspecialty Fellowship training in Pediatric Nephrology from an accredited center.
Valid and up-to-date medical license with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification is an added advantage.
Proven experience managing both acute and chronic pediatric renal diseases.
Experience in pediatric dialysis, renal biopsies, and transplant evaluation
Expertise in diagnosing and managing kidney diseases in infants, children, and adolescents.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
