Summary

  • We invite you to join us on a technical support contract. The position is based in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.

  • The Project Manager (M/F) will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.



The position we are offering involves the following main responsibilities:




  • Manage end-to-end project lifecycle, from initiation to handover;

  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines in alignment with client requirements and company objectives;

  • Lead cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, construction, and HSE;

  • Coordinate and supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards;

  • Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource plans;

  • Identify and mitigate project risks; implement contingency plans as needed;

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and stakeholders;

  • Provide regular reports on project progress, issues, and performance to senior management;

  • Ensure adherence to contractual obligations and industry standards;

  • Promote a strong safety culture and enforce HSE compliance at all project sites.



Profile Wanted




  • You have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, with at least 8–10 years experience of project management experience in the Oil & Gas or industrial construction sector.

  • You have solid understanding of local and international HSE regulations and practices.

  • You are willing to travel and work on-site across project locations in Nigeria.

  • You have a proven experience in managing large-scale EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects.

  • You have a strong leadership and team management skills. Also an excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.

  • You are recognised for your proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).

  • PMP or equivalent certification is a strong advantage.

  • Professional English is mandatory.
