Role Summary
- An IT/Media Officer manages the organization’s information technology infrastructure while also handling digital media, communications, and content management.
- They ensure smooth IT operations, protect data integrity, and enhance the organization’s online presence.
Key Responsibilities
Information Technology (IT) Responsibilities:
- Maintain and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network systems.
- Ensure data security and perform regular backups.
- Install, configure, and update IT equipment and software.
- Provide technical support to staff and assist with IT-related issues.
- Monitor system performance and optimize IT resources.
- Maintain IT documentation and user manuals.
Media & Communications Responsibilities:
- Manage the organization’s social media platforms and online presence.
- Create, edit, and publish digital content, including images, videos, and graphics.
- Assist with internal communications through newsletters, announcements, and updates.
- Support marketing campaigns with media content creation.
- Monitor and report on digital engagement metrics.
- Ensure brand consistency across all media channels.
Collaboration and Support:
- Work with other departments to support IT and media needs.
- Provide training to staff on IT tools and media best practices.
- Stay updated on new technologies, digital trends, and cybersecurity threats.
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications with at least 5 years experience.
