The Sales Officer will be responsible for generating leads, managing customer relationships, driving sales growth, and ensuring an excellent client experience.
The role requires strong communication, negotiation skills, and a proactive approach to achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and generate new sales opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and networking.
Manage and grow existing customer accounts by providing excellent service and timely support.
Present, promote, and sell products or services to prospective and existing clients.
Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
Prepare and deliver sales proposals and presentations.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline updates.
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Conduct market research to understand trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
Follow up on leads and ensure timely conversion.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and customer satisfaction.
Participate in sales meetings, trainings, and performance reviews.
Provide weekly and monthly sales activity reports.
Requirements
HND / B.Sc Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
3 – 5 years of experience in sales or customer-facing roles.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under minimal supervision and achieve targets.
Good understanding of sales processes and customer engagement strategies.
