Job Summary
- We are hiring to support all on-site dewatering operations, including the safe operation and basic maintenance of pumps and equipment, frequent loading and unloading of heavy materials, assisting in the drilling of mini water wells, and performing a wide range of labour-intensive tasks as directed by company supervisory staff to ensure efficient and effective project completion.
Principal Accountabilities:
- As a leading provider of dewatering services in the construction industry, we seek dedicated, physically fit, reliable, and hardworking field staff. You will be integral to our site operations, ensuring projects proceed safely, on time, and to standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Be able to lead a team and maintain a dewatering site.
- Comply with all company safety policies, processes, and procedures.
- Operate, monitor, and maintain company’s dewatering pumps and machinery.
- Assist the Site Foreman in the installation, setup, jetting and supervision of dewatering sites.
- Report any accidents, incidents, or near misses immediately to Foreman or Operations manager.
- Participate actively in all job training.
- Supervising and assisting
- In the movement of dewatering materials, equipment, and tools.
- Assemble and disassemble dewatering equipments on site including accessories for dewatering.
- Clean-up of dewatering pumps, accessories, and the general work area.
- The various day-to-day site duties as needed.
- Observe all company rules and regulations, representing the company in a positive and professional manner.
- Communicate effectively with other team members and report any issues or concerns promptly to the supervisor.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by supervisory staff.
Requirements
- Be at least 30 years of age.
- Possess a minimum of a OND with proven ability to read and write.
- Proven ability to perform strenuous physical tasks repeatedly.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Must be time-conscious, trustworthy, and reliable.
- A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in the Dewatering industry.
- Must have a working mobile phone for communication.
